I think this thread would see some more movement if you stated what tools do you have at your disposal; what processes your considering, and what materials you are comfortable working with.

Your going to need to google this and come up with a plan and ask for input IMHO.

I have an incra. If I were to take the time to build one I would use cams similar to their design. When I purchased it, I bought it thinking it would be well cared for and last a very long time. Quality piece for the price.

I have this Kreg, similar to yours. You would be amazed at the difference a sheet of Formica does underneath it.

This old one I put on top of a piece of hardboard:

I use this one for picture frames. Most plans call for making the fence solid, I find it better to be able to adjust it:

All these give you much of the advantage of a cut off box.

That's not really helping in reference to the items ilovevocs mentioned.

Details, not ambiguity

Here's one I made for my table saw:

Nice Job Akalian But I'm looking for a small one. I added a picture to the original post to show what I'm looking for it. I want to build one for my Homemade Belt and Disk sander. But thank you for sharing a Homemade one.

Don't know what you will be sanding but I would think the fence should be taller, or have holes for an auxiliary fence.

Vernon, any updates?

Was impressed by your belt sander and was hoping to see some more amazing work.
