Looking to buy a pressure washer

I want a pressure washer that is going to last for a long time. I've looked around and found that basically all the cheaper ones brake easily and I wasn't really interested in an entry level one as it is.

I want to be able to clean the oil out which has soaked into some concreet at my parents house. Keeping the cement oil stain free is my main concern.

Can a pressure washer be used to strip paint of body panels without damaging the panels ? If so how powerful of a unit would I need for that ?

Right now I'm looking at this one as the best overall value/performance. I'm willing to spend a more, quality is important to me.

What do you guys think about that pressure washer ?

From what I've been reading, it seems that most of the motors on the mid-level units are either Honda/Honda knock offs or Briggs-Stratton.

What are the differentiating features that make Shark/BE so much better then the others ?

I own a construction and tool rental comapny and i would also not recommend buying one from northern tool or the likes, you may be hard pressed to find parts for them

For some reason I feel like I need at least 2500psi and somewhere in the neighborhood of 2500+ PSI. Maybe I am over estimating the amount of power required here ?

I kind of already know what NOT to buy. The generic/house brands tend to be made with the cheaper components that wear out anywhere from 10 hours to 100 hours of use.

I'm basically looking for help picking a good one that will take care of all my needs.

Any sugestions ?

Sorry to be a spoil sport, but try the search function. There was a thread yesterday that I spent 30 minutes answering and many more in the past.

We have two Landa brand pressure washers at work. One is gas powered the other is an electric with the hot water option and all I can say is that both of those things are tough, they have been getting abused for years. I would buy a Landa.

Try to find a Simpson belt drive with a Honda engine. I would buy a 3000psi unit.

Landas are too expensive. The parts are interchangeable with about every other pressure washer, so you end up paying a premium for the name. I am with Fatfilup, use the search to fnd the thread from yesterday. Remember GPM is more important then PSI in the scheme of things.

If you're waiting to hear from an average john, who bought an average PW who likes it a lot, and got a great value, that would be me.
Just go to Lowe's and buy the Troy Bilt.
I think it's around 3000psi and 2.7gpm. Not bad I tell ya.

Guys, I did use the search function before I posted this thread, like most forums the search functions are hit and miss.

My thread was also posted yesterday..... I will look for the other one.
