I'm a newb here, just getting set up after years of apartment living. I grew up helping my dad wrench on cars, but have very few tools of my own at the moment. Gradually building back up, but one item I'm torn on is a vise. I know how handy they are, but they're also a big chunk of the present tool budget. I'm going back and forth on what size and level of quality to get.

For example, here's a huge Reed locally, that is amazing but I frankly don't know if I really need a 200lb vise. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/tls/3674259698.html

Here's a smaller, cheaper, but still beefy looking American Scale model. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/tls/3738211578.html

Here's a Morgan Chicago (which would put it pre-1947 make, right?) which seems to be the best value, but will I really need something this beefy for DIY work around the house? http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/tls/3729415046.html
