looking to purchase a tumbler

anyone use a tumbler for cleaning up parts? Thinking about getting one but would like some feedback... heard the vibratory one is super loud, and worried the HF one's electrical won't be so good... all feedback and opinions welcomed... thanks guys

I use one I made from an old conveyor head pulley. The key is getting the drum to turn slow enough that it isn't slamming the parts. With a gearbox I got down to around 18 rpm which is about right for a drum this size. Holds a lot of media and parts. Still a fairly noisy unless you line the drum with rubber which helps. I enclosed mine with a frame and insulation panels to contain the rumble. Ed.
