Looking to upgrade my air compressor

Right now I've got the HF 3 gallon 1/3 hp oilless pancake compressor. I've been getting by with it for the last few years now but I really want something more. This compressor barely does what I need it to do, it takes way too long to get to it's 100 psi max, and the 3 gallon tank looses pressure too fast... At least it's been reliable and gets the job done, it's just not ideal.

I don't want to go with a big air compressor because space is an issue, although I could make the space if I needed to, but I also don't want to spend that much $$$ anyway. I was doing some searching on c-list and I thought I found some compressors that would fit my needs, but after looking at the reviews I'm not so sure. Here's what I've been looking at

All three look like they would meet my needs,.. I'm not running any air tools although I do use an air gun, but then when I look at reviews online they are all so-so at best. The porter cable seems to get the least bad reviews, but I could just buy a new one for $50 more so...

Then I was thinking about getting one of the better HF models. Unfortunately the 25% off coupon doesn't work for compressors but at least I'd be getting a new product that I could return if it didn't work.

What would you do? :headscrat

Although I only sell new compressors, I come across some deals from manufacturers from time to time. Do you know how much air you are looking for (CFM)?
