lost a tool today....

today i lost a 8 inch green handled pry bar
i owned this for 8 years and now the rest of the prybars are lonely
i really cannot convey here just how pissed i am , losing a tool really really pisses me off to no end !!!!!!!!!!
now i have to spend money to replace it and i do not know if green handled prybars are still being made ,i want colors to match so the question is what does a new set cost nowadays and what do i do with the remaining green prybars?
not to mention they were SNAPON prybars , damn i am mad

Yeah, is it lost as in you don't know where it is, or is it at the bottom of a lake somewhere?

I feel your pain; there is nothing quite as: mind numbing, brain damage causing, and soul destroying... as losing one of your favorite tools! Especially, when its a non-production Snap-On tool! ebay is your best bet and email our resident Snap-On dealers (you never know!)! You might put a request in the classifieds section as well! Good luck in your search and emotional recovery!

I saw my very first Snap-On FL830 slide out from under a car I was test driving. As I was making a 1 point turn (donut) to retrieve it when some guy opened the door of his ****** and scooped it up. He doesn't know how close he came to trying out his airbag

I have done it with a 16mm flarenut crowsfoot once from a Harbor Freight set.I was loking over to find it and got a Matco replace in it's place.Found it later on,was under a Ford truck I replaced the power steering pump on.Still missing a Cornwell 7 inch wire cutter.Still have not found that one yet.

I have had work done on my cars and found tools left by the tech inside my car; I returned the tool! It made me feel good to do this; since I know the feeling and expense it takes to replace a well loved tool!

They still make green handled prybars. Not sure if yours had the striking cap on it, but at least the color is right if that's what your worried about.

One of my first-maybe the very first-Snapon things I had was a tiny 1/4" drive flex 10mm. socket.Craftsman thingy like it too bulky. It came in handy in working on my Chevrolet Citation. I lost that thing. Went around the neighborhood looking for it,thought it had fallen through the bottom of my pocket. I bought another one. Years later I found the old one under the miniature spare tire which lived under the floor of the back of the car.
I guess people have locks on their toolboxes for a reason---

Sorry guys. I know how y'all feel. Last week I took a not common 1/2" drive Bog mfg co ratchet out to show a friend. Had it in my back pocket, it slid out and got left on the bus. Was hopeful calling transit lost & found because I was the last one off the bus and my trip was the last one before the driver went back to the garage. It was never turned in.
It was a nice ratchet too. Even Alloy artifacts doesn't have one.
I will be kicking myself for a loooong time for that one.
