I have lost the keys to my toolbox. When I moved to a new house, the keys went missing. I really didn't notice since I never lock it. But I'm about to move again and I need to lock it so the movers don't rifle through it.
The lock cylinders have "T004" stamped on them. It's a "Mechanic's Edge" toolbox, bought at Costco about 4 years ago. It looks suspiciously identical to the "Torin" toolboxes they now sell.
The lock on the bottom I can reach from underneath and probably could change. But the lock to the top drawers is basically not accessible without bending or cutting some metal away. I'm trying to figure out how they assembled it so I get it apart if required.
Does anyone have any ideas? Should a locksmith know what a T004 lock cylinder is and could cut me some keys?
I tried a search but surprisingly there isn't much on this on the forum. Thanks in advance.
