I have been collecting material to build a louver punch for some time. I have had a request to do some louvers for an old friend so it is time to get this thing done. I will be documenting the balance of the build on video and posting it and some pictures here.

Sub'd! I'd probably just drill into that taper you got turnedand put in a locator pin or even a bolt. There isn't any rotational force like you mentioned, so you don't need anything as tough as a big ole key.
