Low(ish) Cost Coating for Garage

I need a coating for my newly-constructed garage. It's about 900 sq ft, poured about 2 months ago. I want something that will protect it from brake fluid, oil stains, chemicals, etc. I won't be parking in it a ton, mainly for working on projects, etc. I work on cars a good bit so jack stands, jacks, etc., are used a bunch.

I'm hoping to keep my costs around $500 for the coating (not including acid prep, filling joints, equipment).

Thoughts/Opinions?

What about staining the concrete floor? Anyone tried that? I have a 30 year old garage floor and want a vintage look, not bright or contemporary look. Will it hold up to hot car tire?

A stain does not protect or seal your concrete guys - it just colors it. You will need to seal it with a film forming sealer in order to protect the stain and seal the concrete.
