Low pressure cut off for booster pump

At work we recently installed a booster pump with a tank and pressure switch to use for washing trucks. the well gives the building about 50psi and we need more than that to get the trucks clean. we have the booster pump set up on a 70-90 pressure switch. my maintenance guy tells me the crew is constantly running the booster pump dry and he is worried that its going to kill the pump. under normal conditions it works fine but I think they are using it more than they should (wasting water and time) and the well is not able to keep up.

I am looking for a way to wire in a low pressure switch so when the incoming pressure is below say 35psi it cuts the power to the booster pump.

I know they make pressure switches with low pressure cut off but any that I found set the cut off at 10 psi below the low setting and are not adjustable. that isn't going to work for my set up because the feed pressure is well below the low setting on my booster pump.

any suggestions?

Thanks.

google water pressure switch and you will find many that may do what you want to do. How you select depends on the system you have and what you want to do. It seems to me that if your pressure pump is feeding a bladder tank then you could use a separate pressure switch and a resettable relay. The low pressure will drop out the relay and require a reset to get things going. Not difficult if you have anyone with simple controls knowledge. You may find that a low flow detector with a timer on it may be your solution. I'd suggest that you talk with a well pump guy.
