Are the Rhino Ramps too aggressive for your car?

Yes to steep of an angle for both the friday night car and the sunday car.:(

And I suppose I could kae some out of 2x12's but that just seems a little heavy and bulky by the time I would be done with them. Not to mention storage.

If you already own some ramps, try laying down some boards in front of them. It's worked for me in the past with some low clearance vehicles.
It could be a PIA if you're going to be using them a lot, but in my case it was usually someone else's car.

Most of the guys I know with low ground clearance vehicles use Race Ramps.

I suspect these will not fit the definition of "economical" however.

Yeah if they were about half that price I would have probably already pulled the trigger on them. They are a great design.

Make your own, if you just need it for fit the floor jack.

Yes this is the majority of my issues, I have two jacks. One for getting it high enough to get the main floor jack under, and of course the main floor jack. The lower height does not go high enough to get a jack stand under. PITA

I went this route a few times, it almost seemed like just as much PITA as shuffling jacks to get the cars up on stands.

Thanks for the replies guys looks like I am kind of stuck with either going with the raceramps, building my own off of a similiar design to race ramps, or just keep shuffling jacks for a year until I can get the new shop built and lift installed. Which I'm sure will still have to build custom ramps just to get the cars on the lift.:headscrat

Low cars look great but are really a hastle sometimes:confused:

If your ramps have the separate "(removable) ramp, it might be possible to get 1 or 2
x 6 or 2 X 8 sections and place those under the ramp edge to allow one or two "steps" of 1-5/8 before the front of the car sees the ramp itself. you can even nail/screw them together for ease of handling.
