Low temp nonsplit heatpump?

Anyone make a simple wall unit heat pump suitable for low temps? Or is everything available a split system?

How low temp are you trying for?

Some effciency down to around 0 can supplement with straight electric below that.

I think a ptac is what you are looking for, i dont know of any that are remotely that efficient down in those temps

Yeah I don't see how it would be physically possible for a wall unit to be that efficient

On a cold day the exhaust of a good mini split heat pump feels like a breeze in Antarctica. I don't see how it would be possible for a PTAC to ever reach the level of a mini split simply because of it sucking in it's own exhaust. There is just so much air flow needed.

And none of the splits are direct connectable through a wall without all the complications of pressure testing etc right?
