Does anyone know of a source for Lowe brand 9.104 hand pruners? They are German made, but it seems impossible to find an online store here in the States.

OR

Is there another German or Swiss made set of pruners that are good? I found a thread from5 years ago and figured a lot has changed since them......

I have a set of Felco 13 pruners that I really like using. The Felco pruners are nice enough at cutting thru stuff I don't mind having to trim back overgrown vines , etc.

Another great option would be Bahco. They make some great hand pruners! Mine are made in France.

Of note is that you can buy every single part of a pair of Felcos as a repair item, even handles.

I go to Germany every week there happens to be a Home Depot type store nearby that I often go to. I could check this weekend and see if they have them and what the cost is. Let me know.

Felco is the bee's knees.

They are the Snap On of pruners - or secateurs as the Redcoats call them.

Corona (which are Spanish owned, Chinese made) are also very good. They won't cost an arm and leg either.

I have had the Corona Stainless Steel pruners for like 30 years, use them almost everyday.

If you are interested in professional prunners see Italian brand Kuker, they produce very high quality. A lot of people use them in Croatia in their orchards and vineyards. I have them and I am very satisfied.

Thanks for the help.....

I wound up buying two Felco's....a # 9 for my lefty Dad and a # 11 for myself. I am replacing a pair of Florain pruners I've had for 5-6 years.

Cannot wait to get them.....

I will use them for a fruit trees and cutting squash, peppers, etc off the plants.
