Lowes - 42pc Stubby Tool Set

Saw this hanging on the rack at my Lowes today. $12.98 (was $30).
COO is China, and the chrome on the ratchet is not the greatest...but I figure it would do good for a junk drawer in the house or even to throw in the electrical box for small tasks.

I think this is the new plan for Lowes. Bring in China tools and try to sell them high. Make tons of money on any they sell at 400% over regular price. Then yellow tag "clearance" the China tools to get the rest of them sold, still making a ton of money.

NOT being argumentive, just wondering.......
After they clearance the current China tools; What do you think they will bring in?
American made tools?

It's not clearance, it's "New lower price". It makes it look like clearance but nothing special.

Saw these this past week at a few lowes in GA, WI and IL. So Im sure it'll be that price everywhere until they at least sell out of them.

How are you going to keep all the sockets together? The plastic tabs on the rails will not last. Small parts box or another idea?
