Nobody in for the .99 LED bulbs? Are they junk?

Local Lowes already has them out for .99 and I bought 2. Pretty good but it isvthe yellow light version. Was hoping for the Daylight ones but didn't see any and packaging, which sucked, didn't indicate.

I just picked up a couple of those 99 cent LED bulbs.
2000 hr life expectancy. 1.8 years on average. I thought the average LED bulb was good for 15+ years?

Makes me feel like these might be a fire hazard lol

Anybody have thoughts on the kobalt table saw?

I had a big Jet that just wasn't getting used so I sold it and picked up the Kobalt. Great little saw and the stand is decent. If you don't absolutely have to have it, I picked my up closer to Christmas last year for $189.

Thanks for the response. It isn't needed right now and can wait for a better deal. Have my eye on the delta or ridgid saws as well.

These look to be the same as the 2 pk they sell currently for $4.00. The color is fine but my concern is they are only rated for 5000 hours. That's about half the life of the average CFL. They might be fine for lamps but I don't think I would use them in a stairwell or someplace that's difficult to access.

The ones I saw in the store were only rated for 2000 hours just like an incandescent.

Am I reading the ad right in that you can order the BF sale items online and have them shipped? I saw mention of free shipping on orders over $19 and would like to get the Kobalt table saw. Beats lugging it home if the shipping deal works.

Holy Active sub-forum.
Had to go back three pages to find this.

Everything should be available to order online now.

I think applies to many stores besides Lowes also.

Well, it almost worked like I wanted except that the table saw doesn't qualify for free ground shipping. :( I guess it's too big and has to be shipped by truck, so I have to go to the store after all to pick it up.

store pick up is a lot easier than trying to get there early and find one...stroll in around noon and walk out a few mins later lol

Anyone try these? Needing a few portable work lights...and these were on sale. Thinking about grabbing them.

I haven't used one, but can compared it based on specs.

It puts out 700 lumens. The ones sold at Costco that everyone loves are 2000 and 2700 lumens, for $30-40 instead of $15. This is a small area task light, not a flood light.

The light temperature is 4000K. That's a reason color: cool white, without a blue tint.

I just bought some 350 lumen LED spotlights which in theory should be equivalent light output to 35w incandescent but they are more like a powerful flashlight. And actually I use one of the spotlights like a flashlight since they are battery powered. So I would have no qualms about buying the 700 lumen light.

The best LED worklight out there is the $27 Snap-on from Costco. I believe it gives out 2600 lumens. Amazon has it for over 40 bucks but $27 is everyday price at costco. People said they have seen it goes on sale for $19.

I'll probably go after that kobalt miter saw. That's more then enough saw for me

You may want to check on the harbor freight 12" sliding miter saw. I have a Craftsman, looked at the Kobalt & Harbor Freight, and they all look like they were made at the same factory....side supports were a little different.

Also, a 20% HF coupon can be used....

Just thought something you might want to consider.
