Lowe’s carpet napping shears

This is 50% off now. Seems that Lowe’s is going to introduce a new line of carpet tools called capitol. Those are full price and no reviews. Same msrp as these marshalltown. It seems these China made shears have good reviews. I’m not cutting carpet anytime soon. But seems these are sharp and has an offset for flush cut. So they should be useful elsewhere, right? I’m in Lowe’s now and need to make a decision. Any help and ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
