We must never get the good deals here in WV. I have checked darn near everything listed here and it is all pretty well full price. I keep changing stores and don't find these really low prices until I start using stores 3 hours or more away. Will they price match these at any Lowe's with proof that it is cheaper at other stores or am I just SOL?

I have gotten many deals from this thread by looking the item up on my phone and setting my store as the one with the cheapest price. Lowes mobile site is set up to show the item, number and price. You have to scroll down to see location. Plus I worked for them for 7 years so I got better deals on some items that I bought from the store I worked in. (All IR air tools for $15 ea.) Also as some have said clearance varies from store to store and it is best to seek out a manager to mark a price down. The ones I worked for would make ridiculous price cuts to just get rid of it. (I bought a $1400 hybrid electric water heater for $50. Guy said it leaked. It did but the drain was open.:rocker:)But I have also ran into managers at other stores that would only go 10% less and would act like I was trying to take money out of their pocket if I offered less.

$29.98 here. My store never seems to have any of the deals of others

I once was able to find an item cheap, add it to my cart, then which the store and checkout and the price stayed. Think it was a bug in the site, but I'm not complaining! I did this on my Android phone. If you wanna try it, 02886.

They must have fixed the bug. When I changed the store it raised the price back up almost $70 for the cart. It is ridiculous that the price can change that much from store to store.

Got a cart ordered for pickup at Phillipsburg NJ store. They had more, will check on their inventory level tonight and update this post. I forgot to add the coupon for $10 off 50, so will have to see if I can at the store.

Went to two Lowe's over the weekend and did a slow crawl over every aisle- including gardening, looking for yellow clearance price tags. I wish they wouldn't use yellow for the 'new lower price!' tags as well. GRRRRR.

Two different stores had different things on clearance in some cases, but some are system wide. Did find the stubby wrenches mentioned here in Tukwila but not in Auburn, WA. Discounted to $6.81 for SAE and metric. MINE! I like the little holder they come with and decided to keep it that way.

Also found 6" long 1" diameter tension springs for $1.50 each, down from the $7 normal price. Do I need them? No. Did I buy them? Heck yeah! Good for projects. I don't know what I'm going to build with them, but something will come up where they will be perfect.

Got the lighted ratchets, 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2". I still feel they are gimmicky, but I can't deny they work and the light they give is surprisingly helpful. They may not be my go-to ratchets, but when I have a car up on the lift, I can see them getting a workout. Good solid build quality, which surprised me for Kobalt.

Aluminum nails were discounted heavily, around 80% off. I don't know what I'll use a box for, but $1.50 said I will have to find a use.

The manager at one of the nearby Lowes here is like that. Recently, they made a mistake on one of my online orders and his offer to compensate me was to say "If you want to buy an additional of the same item I can give you 10% off that one."
After due consideration, I humbly declined his generous offer. :lol_hitti

What is everyone using for the $10 off $50 coupon? Competitor coupon? Or maybe the USPS mover coupon?

189 at mine. they have a cheap kobalt air shear on sale for 39. id really like to have a dewalt at that price!

Yea it's a great deal, I'm really contemplating getting it. $47 for the dewalt shear, plus a couple set of wrenches on clearance brings it to $51, then adding the coupon code it's $41 for everything...Decisions Decisions... :willy_nil

Browsed my local Lowes, found a few good deals on some Kobalt tools. Also found a good deal on Kreg Deck Jig, I have no use for it, maybe some of you do.

I went to one store, yesterday....all of the cashiers and customer service people wanted to do it (and they were willing), but when they went to get the manager's code......I got a politically correct "no, I can't match it."

I showed them a pic of the above, again....

"Are you sure?" I asked.... He said "yes."

So I turned, left it along with the armful of other stuff and walked out. The other stuff was at full price.

saw a deal posted on FW about a dewalt DWM120 portable bandsaw at Lowes for $149
http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1349753/?fwcs=ta521887

searched and found them for $95 in Pensacola, ordered both they had and used the coupon posted in this thread by Alxdr8 so I got them for $85 each. I can sell one and mine is free. I will say that I saw no other stores around that had them discounted, but the deal is good so it is worth checking. Obviously they are down at some stores since it was posted on another site and I found them. Keep watching them.
......

I went to a different store after work, and got one of these.....

The cashiers/Customer service and manager were great and had a good attitude!!!

I told them about the $95 deal, but also said that "I was Grateful for the $149.50 pricematch."

Then I used a code from

.......Use coupon code 4700XXAAAA9073X and replace the last X with any number (I used 0).........

it worked and I got another $10 off....

Even though the saw is made in china, I hope that it is as good as the others that I have used in the past.

The time will tell, but also thanks for this thread!!!

I wish I could get a deal on that saw, but it's $300 locally. :wtf:
