The store i stopped at were stocked up on those at that price. If i had a more expendable cash after buying the cart, i would have snagged those also.
I believe they got as low as $29......They may drop again?

While I was at Lowes picking up my $70 roll cart I saw these on clearance.
Not sure on the quality of Kobalt wrenches, but it seemed to be a pretty good deal if anyone is in need.

Lowes in Rocky River Ohio had one. I purchased it online and went in to find it was a beat up display model. They couldn't have another sent from a different store because it was clearanced. They said Elyria store had three in stock, but the price was 116 and they couldn't change that. Unreal. Sometimes when shopping these deals the store employees look at you with contempt and drag their feet helping you out. Frustrating...

Here is the way to handle that
Buy the display.....But do it as a pickup later. In other words don't take it with you.
Take the receipt to the other location and tell them you need them to match the price. If they refuse, ask for the MOD. If they still refuse, then ask the MOD for the customer complaint line. Because they MUST price match.
Generally most of the managers are so weak and upper management does not back them up.
But if that fails ask for the market directors name and number. Tell them that you want to ask him why the stores in his district won't price match
After you get the new item at the matched price, go back to original store and return the display you never picked up

Lowe's, as a whole, has by far the worst customer service of any retail store I've been into in recent memory. The in-store management personnel are often unbelievably vile.
You've obviously never been to Sears. But yeah, Lowe's is pretty awful too.
Just got back from my local Lowe's in Sierra Vista, AZ and they had a few sets of the 7 piece metric Power Cross ratcheting wrenches for $15 a set. I tried finding a link for them on their site to post here but can't find them online. I found an identical set on eBay and it gives a model #257427. The set goes from 10mm to 17mm minus the 16mm. I picked up a couple sets of the metric stubbies for $4.50 each. Debating whether or not I should go back and grab a set of those ratcheting ones.
How do they work? Just drill a hole & put it in then hammer it?

It shows just drill and hammer in, haven't used it yet. I Got 3 of each.
The Kobalt Spark Plug Tune-up Kit still on clearance for $12.58 in many places - Item number 436178
It contains the long handled, 72 tooth, 3/8 Flex head ratchet flex head ratchet that normally goes for $30, plus a 6" extension and 2 spark plug sockets.
Found them in the small automotive section. Got one today to add to my "grab and go" box.
a simple lag bolt would have to carry more load, imo. What would happen if you used them on wood? I am sure they are not as strong, but would they work?
Redi-Drive concrete anchors 47 cents and 70 cents pack of 25. They were 14.00 bucks Davie Florida store..

A bunch of the Red head stuff has been on sale for a while now. On slickdeals there was a thread last week. had a bunch of idiots buying stuff that they had no idea what is was for.![]()
None of the Lowe's in my area even stock this kit. I have checked about five different stores and the same story everywhere. The closest store with the kit in stock is a two hour drive one way. I figure by the time I buy the gas for that trip I could about buy a Snap On flex ratchet lol.
I looked all over the tool and the outdoor equipment areas but I finally stumbled on them in the little automotive section. They've got about 12 feet of items that are considered auto/truck related on one of the hardware or electrical isles.Looked for this set at Lawton today.....store computer showed to have four in stock. We looked for 30 minutes in the tool section and the small engine department....guy finally said the computer must be wrong.![]()

Does anyone know the box size for the tool cart? I'm looking to pick one up while on vacation and don't know if it will fit in my car with all the other luggage.
