Went in to pick up a 50-pack of Irwin Blue Blades, and saw a bunch of these Kobalt utility knives were on clearance.

Picked one up for $3.59 at my Central Florida store. Can never have too many spares.

EDIT: Link didn't work. It's item #240888.

My nearby store in North TX had a section of clearance Bosch bits for cheap.

Kobalt & Dewalt have yellow tags, but they aren't super cheap just yet.

I hit three Lowes today. First one had this knife at $0.90 and also had Kobalt snap blade knives for $0.60. Cleaned them out. Hit two other Lowes that and they had this knife for the $3.59 price.

Lowes pricing structure remains a mystery to me.

Been carrying that same knife as my EDC for the last 7 years. Pin in the locking mechanism wore out after 6 years of daily use. Brought it in for warranty and they told me to get another off the shelf and have a nice day. I guess I need to pick a few up in case they stop making them.

ChannelLock Rescue Tool is on Clearance for $8.25. I'm not sure what I'll actually use it for, but it might come in handy.

Im so ticked at lowes. 300# 6ft fiberglass ladder new lwer price of 67 bucks. Cheaper than 225# ladder. All my local stores (five) have been out of stock for a month. Got a pallet of them right now for 99 bucks. The old sticker has been taken off. Should have asked for a raincheck. Not even sure if they do thhat. There new lower price stickers are not permanent so jump on it. They do this with a lot of items.

I believe it's the Channellock 89. They have been on clearance for quite some time now and are not listed on the Lowes website.

It is the 89 and I saw it on clearance last week for about $23, and I was going to pick it up at that price, but I stopped in last night for some other ****, and saw they had marked it down more to $8.25. Hence, I snatched one up. I might go buy another one of they aren't all gone and give it as a gift or something down the road.

I finally found the little corner that my Lowe's has to show the clearance items. I was hoping to find the Irwin Vise Grips like @SuperSport found but nope they were going for full price.
However I did find a few sales and the wife was happy with them too.

#1 - Kobalt Scraper w/Blade on sale for $1.15 but they rang up for $.29 cents each! I had 3 in my cart, may have to go buy some more tomorrow.

#2 Ideal IDEAL 8" Long Nose Pliers on sale for $5.19 I like the feel for this specially for $5.19. They only had one left.
http://www.lowes.com/pd_30877-12704...r&pl=1&currentURL=?Ntt=ideal+plier&facetInfo=

#3 Kobalt Multi Purpose scissors $2. The wife was adamant I take a few, but I only got one.
http://www.lowes.com/pd_90507-16878...=1&currentURL=?Ntt=kobalt+scissors&facetInfo=

#4 Kobalt Long Nose Locking Pliers $2.73
http://www.lowes.com/pd_464636-1687...RL=?Ntt=kobalt+long+locking+pliers&facetInfo=

Now that I know where the clearance items are located in a shelf in a corner to no-where I will visit more often to get some of these deals.

My local lowe's had gutter guard 5 pieces for $1.00 (in a package, the metal stuff). Quite a deal for a hillbilly such as myself. This was a managers (roller) deal.

I have no idea what you guys are going to use those for...and that's why they've been on clearance for months.

Any one want to buy one of the Channellock 89 for the $8.25 and ship it to me? (I will pay) my store doesn't have them anymore and I could use a set for my bunker gear.

Frisco, TX store on Eldorado had 2 for $19.99, now there's one.

I like Kobalt wrenches and ratchets, but I hate the cheesy rubber handles. I fixed mine.

Craftsman #1 Philips handle. Fits nicely in a socket. Socket is bolted to the table.

Not to get too off topic but does anyone know if those 1/4" ratchets can be upgraded to a finer tooth mechanism? I picked up one for $29 last night and the only thing I dislike is the 36 tooth count, also Doan what size bit did you use to drill the screwdriver handle out?

$19.99 at my store. I picked one up this afternoon.

Am I the only one who has the links on here direct them to the main page on Lowes?

I started with 1/4" and worked up until it would slide on. didn't write it down.

That web page description is wrong, they are 72 tooth. Look at another 1/4 ratchet with same design head and they are 72 tooth. All of the new Taiwan kobalt ratchets I own are 72 tooth. That would be suprising if they use a 36t mechanism for that one ratchet but the rest are 72t.

It is a 36 tooth. Some of their other long handle ratchets are also 36 tooth
