I paid 80$ at craftsman for those organizers.. kind of mad now.

I think im gonna buy some backups and organize some pliers now. Cause my pliers drawer is a mess!

I got the same one a couple weeks ago but forgot to post it. I got it for $24.00 after some ********* haggling. They had it marked down to $25. :D

They also had an IR air hammer set with 3 bonus bits for $42. The bit set was missing and the lowest she would go was $32. I left it but have been thinking about going back.

I finally found one of the 436178 flex ratchet and spark plug socket kits at a local Lowe's. It was $12.58. The Lowes.com website showed that the store had one in stock. The employee in the tool department looked it up and said it was a "ghost" item and they didn't have it an it should have been removed from their system.

On a hunch, I checked the lawn and garden section and found it. I post this just as information, in case someone were to go looking for one and no one in the store has a clue where it is.

I recommend doing a search for Knipex on the site every once in a while and checking what the website says about stock levels at stores near you. My closest store randomly added two more Knipex Linesman's pliers today. I ordered them online and picked them up ten minutes later. $4.86 after tax for two.

Anybody got a Zip to make that ratchet show at 25 bucks?

EDIT: Found a store near me with them for............... $12.60. If anyone wants to try to get them to pricematch I'll put up the store zip code after I make sure they even have one left for yours truly.

has anyone come across something on this list that showed out of stock in that store but one was mysteriously on a shelf with no price? what do they let it go for?

No Lowe's within 150 miles of me show ANY Knipex pliers in stock, much less on sale. Deals are basically few and far between here.

Some stores in my area put clearance signs on the nut and bolt drawers. So you do not have to open all of them.

ETA: Its $10 in store plus shipping maybe not worth it :dunno:

If anybody wants the 3pc Kobalt socket tray sets for $5 but can't find any in stock locally, I have seven complete sets (7 SAE, 7 metric) that I will not be using. I started to swap my black HF trays out for them last weekend, but the HF numbers are much easier to read with the trays stacked front to back.

I'll put them in the classifieds later.

The bosch batterys are hard to find, Some are down to $53. I found one at $8 and one at $15.Bought a few nut and bolts at a bargain.

Yea your right about that got two for 26 bucks each, got a charger for 6 bucks. No more left at any of the Lowes in my area.

That's how the system works. the clearance price is per-store so when it shows they have no stock, it goes back to full price. kind of dumb but sometimes if you talk to them knowing this fact you can get what you came for.

oh, I wait straight to the manager and she just laughed and said, "yea they show out of stock, but we must sell them so I have to leave them $39.99".

Do your hf ttrays move around? I found the kobalts to stick better but they re not easy to read
