Not that I've noticed. Do you have drawer liners?

Yes. The hf were smooth bottom the lowes seem to have a ridge to stay in place. Made the wwrong choice. Got 5 sets of the lowes I wish I ddidnt have. Cant see the size on the lowes

DuoFast 3-inch drive pins - both regular and washer heads. Used for powder-actuated low velocity fasteners.

Both $.33 a piece, reg $12.98 and $13something.

Regular: http://www.lowes.com/pd_313442-2191-37940.0_4294865690_39?productId=3081251

Washer head: http://www.lowes.com/pd_313444-2191-37886.0_0__?productId=3081255

I bought probably 8 boxes, if anyone needs some let me know.

ALSO Portfoilio 8-piece solar lights, $18.00. 136686 here: http://www.lowes.com/pd_136686-93591-00954_0__?productId=3582724 Reg over $67. These are bright, decent quality lights for the money.

Do your hf ttrays move around? I found the kobalts to stick better but they re not easy to read
I have HF and Westling trays in the same drawer together, the Westlings move more than the HF. Neither is perfect but the HF trays also have more weight on them, the Westlings hold hex/torx bits and u joints right now.

I had some of the older (better?) style Kobalts in that drawer, I didn't notice they were any better or worse than the HF ones. Didn't compare them to the Westlings, they came out when the Westlings went in.

This is with the liner included in a HF 44" box.

If you're interested in the 39 in 2-drawer kobalt cart, now's the time to start looking. I checked both my stores tonight and one had 1 cart at $16, the other had 1 cart at $32. I bought both with store pickup, and I'm going to see if I can't get the $32 to price match down to $16. I don't know if they'll be there when I go to pick them up (too good to be true). I'm in NE Mississippi, but I don't want to list my stores yet so that I don't get poached if they're slow to pull the stock from the floor. Honestly, I'm expecting a 50/50 chance that I'll get an order cancellation from both stores.

Edit: The store with the $32 one just called and said they'd 'lost it'.

Depending upon your luck some local Lowes are lowering the price of the Kobalt tool cart. I think it's pretty slick between $30-50 and if your lucky enough to get it for $16 better hope an employee doesn't snag it first. The tool cart original price was 199

I searched a bunch locally. Some 64 some 71 some 78. 16 is unreal. At that price they may as well use it in store or something. Or donate to charity.

I do feel it could use better quality caster's though.

man this hot deals section.

I just bought 3 at 39 minus 10% coupon, so 115 OTD for 3. Said they had 4, so hopefully stock is showing right. Ill know tomorrow...oh and no $16 ones around DFW...

I just ordered another cart for $32.**, we'll see if they have it. The store that I bought my first one at for $65 still had probably 10 of them up on the shelves. If the $32 goes through I'm not sure if I'll keep it or take it back with my $65 receipt. Don't really have the space for a second one.

Got the call, it's the floor model so they offered it to me for $25! Guess I'll be keeping it.

Looks like Lowes shipped the remaining stock to one particular store in my area, as they usually do with clearance items, but at the original price.

Got my call for the 3, said they don't have any, but sounded like they didn't want to look. I politely ask that they look harder.

It's showing $32 at one of the stores around me but I don't have room for another. Heck of a deal though since I paid $65 for mine!

I really think that the employees go to pull an item for an order, see what a deal it is, then hide it, say it is missing, cancel the order, then 'find it' and buy it themselves.

Wow

Prices are all over the place and vary widely from store to store. Lowest one around me is $35 but that's an hour away. I don't want it that badly.

I was just saying that in either this thread or another GJ thread. When Lowe's asked me to rate my purchase I said either their inventory system isn't very good or store employees are finding the deals, keeping them, and telling customer item is out of stock. I'm starting to think its better to go to the store when you find a bargain instead of ordering online

ETA: This has happened multiple times to me. Also same thing happens at Home Depot

The problem is, by the time they catch up with the in-store price, the item is gone.

The online inventory system and the store inventory are two different systems that do not interact with each other in real time. More like once a day.

You're giving Lowe's employees way too much credit if you think they're smart enough to be pulling and hiding orders. Most of the people working at Lowe's couldn't give less of **** about tools or deals.

I think you guys are having so much trouble because you're buying clearance items that are moved all over the place and stocked god knows where. When they were blowing out Knipex stuff here the clearance cart they were on was between plumbing and seasonal. No rhyme or reason, just out of the way.

On the other hand I have seen a shopping cart filled with clearance stuff marked down at the Lowes service counter that belonged to the service employee. I inquired about the contents of the shopping cart and the employee gleefully explained that they were the last ones left and that she and a few others had picked them out to purchase later.

Other times when the clerk rang up my super clearance item they asked which aisle were they found and whether there were any more. The employees are active shoppers too!

I bought a cart a few weeks ago and prior to going in the store the tracker said 10 in stock and after purchasing a cart in parking lot I looked online again and the inventory tracker said 9 in stock.

It's only natural employees will scoop up the deals.

Just picked up my Jawhorse. $42 with tax and will get 5% upromise back. All other stores have it at $159 around me. So strange that they price things like this but the same thing happened to me about a year ago with a big Kreg Jig toolbox kit. It retailed for like $200 but was clearanced out at one store only for like $75. I guess you just always have to check the other surrounding stores when you are buying something.

There were five others available when I ordered late last night (Jawhorse). All five were sitting in the cage this morning when I went to pick up. They sold them out overnight. I should have bought a couple.

Ah okay, I thought you meant that someone bought one and presumed it was an employee.

So, naturally, my thought was.. you did!

Good to know its real time.
