There are 2 wrench sets
The ones with the curved wrenches hve only been in the stores a month or so(not at Christmas)

The other set was out last year before Black Friday.

Both sets are still in stores, but not clearance

Anyone's local Lowe's website still have the Bessy Parallel/cabinet clamps listed?..or have store pics of a good reduced price @ a store?
Greatly appreciate it if someone could post.

So I ordered a Black and Decker cordless string trimmer for $13, it was 75% off because it was the Nicad model and all the new ones are lithium. Get the email, says pickup is ready. On the way to the store, I get a call and they say it's no longer available.

Ugh.

This is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. Are the employees just seeing these and cancelling my order to buy themselves to throw on eBay/Craigslist? Or do they legitimately get sold out within the few hours it takes me to drive there? I assume I wouldn't get the confirmation to pickup if they didn't have it in stock?

I just saw the kit with the S wrenches for the first time yesterday. I didn't bother to look if the yellow tag was clearance or 'new lower price' but the package said china so I kept on going.

Kobalt Taiwan is the baseline for me. lower than that is no good.

That what I was pointing out, not worth arguing with someone who knows everything though.

I always post about the smoking deals I get.

This is one that I didn't get because I was off for a couple of days.

Each time we put a display out for a power tool, We put the Chargers and the batteries for the power tools in top stock to hold them for when we go to sell the tool. That way it is still a complete kit

Our loss prevention people came in and decided that they did not want us to keep all the batteries and chargers in top stock for the displays.
So they took all of them out and sold all of the batteries for five dollars each and all of the charges for five dollars each.

20v Dewalt-18v Dewalt-12v Dewalt-20v Porter Cable-18v Porter Cable-Bosch 18v
(You get the picture)
I was told One employee bought 40-20v Dewalt batteries and 12 Chargers for $5 each(plus his 10% off makes the $4.50 each)
Said he was going to put them on EBay:willy_nil:eyecrazy:

I was kinda pissed because I didn't get a phone call, then I thought.....Oh well I get plenty of deals on all sorts of stuff

May want to ask at your store how they handle the display batteries and chargers

It absolutely was out at Christmastime. I'm in Lowe's 5 times a week hunting for new yellow tags. I've got a pretty good handle on what Chinese ******** came out when.

Your store may have gotten them later, but my store definitely had them. They were originally on an endcap opposite the 34 pc (34 on a tool endcap, stupid curved wrenches on a hardware endcap).

DEWALT 7-Amp 1/2-in 3-Speed Right Angle Drill Kit with Case

Item #: 296577 | Model #: DW120K

Picked up for $62 ($72-$10 coupon) Originally $259

I live in downtown Houston and work about 45 minutes south, so I have about 6 Lowe's on my way home and another 6-10 at my disposal. I'm usually able to find just about any of the deals at one of the stores if I watch closely enough.

I just happened to stubble upon this deal while doing a lap before picking up my online order.

Does your store have any more? I'm heading to Houston next week. What location have you found to have the best deals down there?

I know a bunch of y'all were using $10 off $50 coupon codes when buying the cart, but I'm having a hard time finding a coupon code to use now. Any help?

My local store has only one single 24" K-body clamp left on clearance, around $32-33 I think. I bought this store and the next nearest one out of the 40" and 50" K-body clamps last month when they dropped below $40.

There are more small Bessey clamps on the shelf there - Tradesman clamps, F-clamps, C-clamps, vises, a few other assorted small items as well.

I've bought plenty of items from this thread in the past however it seems the deals are being sucked up by employees. This has recently started at the lowes I frequent. That is the only explanation.

That deal seems to be dead. I just tried using it. :dunno:

You can check slickdeals.com then look for the Lowes tab. I

It's been like that at my local store forever. Seems fair to me. I mean, the poor bastards make just above minimum wage, I think.

call corporate when this happens and complain. once you get the email that says ready for pick-up they are obligated to finish the sale. i have had them ship stuff from other stores when this has happened, or at the very least they will give you a gift card for your trouble

Depending on what they do.

If they are a CSA(customer Service associate). They are probably $10-$13

Dept Managers are $14-$23

Asst Store Managers are in the $50k-$65k range

Store managers are over $100k from my understanding

There are the possibility of quarterly bonuses for hourly people

Salaried managers are on a annual bonus plan

Grabbed two sets of of kobalt torx "screwdrivers" for $1.52/ea.

Funny thing, last week I was just thinking how I needed a set at work for a new piece of equipment we just released- loaded with torx. Perfect!

Muskegon store very seldom has any good deals... I picked up a few 1/4" drive magnetic socket rails last week for cheap but that has been all.

It's the same on the east side of the state Michigan stores don't seem to have these deals most of the time. The only thing that I was able to get in on was the Jawhorse deal from a few months ago.

The paint department at my local store had a little shelf at the backside of the customer service area with a bunch of cans of stain on it. They all had handwritten prices of $1. I'm guessing that's a one-store thing, but worth having a look.

There is usually always a little section in the paint dept where they sell their mistints and returns. Lots of cheap paint if you're not picky about the color.

They both do that from time to time if something is returned and they can't make it look like it's still new. Usually it's a bunch of ugly colors. I got a gallon can of polyurethane for $1 once though.
