I think those are being phased out for the 'xtreme' whatevers.

The set I looked at was the same exact set except for the item number. Same carrying case, same picture, same sizes. I had another Lowes tell me that they don't honor other Lowes discount prices. Before this went down at the first Lowes I had a guy in front of me that returned two DeWalt cordless drills with chargers and carrying bags for a full refund. They were obviously used as they were scratched up and dirty. Must be nice to buy and use and then return tools for a full refund while the store won't honor another stores discount price.

That little n at the bottom of the price means that store will not carry it any longer.

Saw those at my Lowes for a bit more at $14.99

Small case as well. Did not have a banana for scale so I used some standard size hex keys.

My lowes just set up their new nailer display. All Hitachi and Bostitch, with a few Paslode. I don't know what they did with the old nailers, such as the Kobalt ones. They no longer carry Kobalt nailers.

They have some of the Bostitch (I think old models) on an end cap, each with like $10 to $20 off.

None of the new nailers are on the shelves, and actually where they used to stock the nailers, under the displays, are filled with nails. I guess you have to ask an associate now if you want a nailer?

Irwin Locking Pliers $4.98 save 64%
Today only. Just got the Lowes promo email
I was at Lowes today and they wouldn't honor that deal. Pricing at my store was the normal price. I guess that without the email you don't get it.

Went looking for the $5 gallons of mineral spirits mentioned earlier. Didn't find them, but found another deal that might interest woodworkers:

206533 Crown Boiled Linseed Oil, gallon. Regularly $23.98
On the website at $12.00
closeout at $1.92.

Didn't even needed the email as the deal was on their website and reflected the sales price. I found the remaining ones and took it to checkout with the website on my phone just in case. Rang up as advertised $4.98

Kobalt pin and brad nailers showing 30% off at whatever stores still have them around me. My local store dropped them, so maybe they are getting discontinued. Check your local store prices online and see if it's any lower for you.

I got 3 of the vice grips for 4th of July and already gave one away to the GF's father. They seem really stout and I love that they don't have the lever to release them. I have NEVER released a vice grip without pinching myself. No matter how I try to do it I get pinched every god damned time!

Almost forgot to mention... YOU ****.
Ahhh, my first YS. Here's a pic. It was the last one, pulled forward and sitting out clear as day. I was surprised. They just dropped it from $45. I drove straight over hoping maybe it was hiding.

so you found that socket kit on the web site in inventory at your store and drove over to get it? I've never been that lucky.
Yea, I was close by so I stopped in and there it was right under the tag.

Oh snap. It's 16$ at the store accross town. I know where I'm stopping on the way home. Looks like a good kit to keep in the car.

I was never able to find the blue extension cord online. It's a dead SKU on the web site. Don't bother.

I don't think it's dead. If you make your zip 02886, it will find it in the search. If you're set to a different zip code, it will also list it as another item that people looked at. Go figure.
