I have had 50/50 success pricematching between different Lowes locations. But it is possible for an employee to price match without manager approval. If the price difference is huge or you are trying to buy multiples, then the employee might need to get manager approval though.

They may have some . . . but all marked statewide in Nebraska at $259 each !! You might try putting one in cart from Muskegon, MI that matches the receipt shown by above GJer, then take screenshot & print it out, along with printout of his receipt. Then use your best negotiating skills and see if Omaha, NE store will match !!

Some lucky dude in Conway, AR got DeWalt right-angle drill for $8.29 . . . wow !!

This....... I called ahead for a price match from the Kalamazoo store @ $43.03. At the time Muskegon list it at $146 so I thought my chances were slim but Ronda said if I pick them up she would match the price. You never know unless you ask and my experience with Lowes price match is a **** shoot. Good luck and be sure to use the receipt. I have found if you have "Proof" they have a little tougher time saying no.

I spoke with store and customer service and sent them the email they sent me back to them. When I get an answer back I will keep you all informed..

If you only got the top box, you should have got the free bottom box as well from what I can tell! Go back and check you email from your on line order.

Look at your "Order Is in Process" page if you ordered it on line for store pickup.. (Seem Image Below) "It says 12-in x 17.5-in 5-Drawer Ball-Bearing Steel Tool Chest (Black) with Free 37.4-in x 26.5-in 5-Drawer, Item #:475927 Model #: SHS2013PROMOTOP "

I call the store back where I purchased 2 of the top units and spoke with the store manager. He sent an email to customer service this morning and I have yet to hear anything back. I told him what was on my order conformation and in the reviews and thought/expected to get the FREE bottom box as well. I also sent him an email with the photos below attached. The manager see my point.

Just remember that you have to sell this based on what info your found out in the review and the conformation email sent to you to the customer service 800 number and the store manager. The Email you got is the main item that confirmed what you should be getting and tell them you expected to receive what they confirmed you purchased...... However, technically, this was a mistake on their part and they are honoring their mistake.. You need to call then ASAP if you want to try to get the FREE bottom box as I think they are in the process of changing the future emails sent out..

Try going to the store where you took delivery with your on line paperwork showing what they confirmed on their conformation and show it to the manager. This is where I got my satisfaction is with the store Manger, not the assistant manager.. Tell him you just open the box an noticed there was only on tool box in it. You thought it might be that you had to bolt it together or something, so that is why you didn't say anything at time of delivery.

I hope it works out for all of you.. You just have to be a good sales person and sell to them what you expected and keep you cool! Once you make threats or loose you cool, you lost the sale.....

The 2 lower boxes came in today. I should be back home sometime this weekend to put it all together. I hope this helps the rest of you out.

Bostitch chalk is down as low as $0.12 for 8 oz bottles (black) and $1.00 for 2.5 lbs (blue). This is in Rincon, GA; lavender is @$0.48 and blue is $0.27 per 8 oz bottle. They also had Stanley hooked razor blades for around $0.62 per 5-pack or $7.99 per 50-pack. I got the larger pack even though it was more per blade...the dispensers are decent and I didn't want a bunch of loose blades around.

Oh, and all nailers seem to be on clearance right now. Haven't seen smoking deals yet, but have noticed the yellow tags at a number of stores. They seem to be up to 25% off right now.
