The Kobalt and Blue Hawk masonry stuff is still around. My local store has a few trowels around 75% off. They also had a Kobalt concrete float at $20; originally $80. I put it in the cart and scanned it to double check the price. All four reviews were negative so I put it back, but YMMV. Two reviews spoke of the hinge breaking (maybe an easy fix for the handyman) and two of the paint flaking off.

First time in recent memory I've walked out of Lowes with nothing but regular priced items. :(

Edit: forgot to add, the masonry stuff has been replaced by Goldblatt. Funny thing is, their kneeler board looks identical (besides color) to the Kobalt ones I picked up as recently as last week. Both made in China, so not a big surprise.

Athens and Decatur AL both show that on the web.

I live between two stores, 5-10 minutes to either. Only one is at $35.

I picked up a few of the masonry tools a few weeks ago when our nearby Lowes was clearing it out. It looks like another case where they are getting rid of a somewhat high quality line of tools for a cheaper one. (But the price remains the same.)

Oh, and all nailers seem to be on clearance right now. Haven't seen smoking deals yet, but have noticed the yellow tags at a number of stores. They seem to be up to 25% off right now.

Hitachi framing nailer NR90AE is on sale for $180. Can probably track down a coupon somewhere online to get at least 10% off - would make it at most $162.

Anyone know if thats a good deal or not? Seems as though my local lowes stores are selling out of it as I cant put it through for store pickup near me.

Just found the 18v porter cable impact for $9.80, must have been hidden away somewhere since it wasn't out the last few times I went.

Bare tool only? That's a great price regardless...I bought into the PC 18v stuff a few years ago, paying $63 for a 3-piece set with two batteries. My impact driver has driven hundreds of screws into treated lumber and has even been used to remove lug nuts and to put them back on (with major loosening/tightening being done by a breaker bar).

Most of the 18v stuff is gone from stores now, besides the Ni-Cad batteries and multi-voltage chargers. I've found a few one-offs myself but most stores out this way don't have clearance prices on them. Also, it's discouraging that PC made their 20v line incompatible. I've seen 18v stuff that I didn't even know was made, like a close quarters drill (retailed at $80, manager only wanted to knock $20 off, so I walked away), hammer drill, and a thermometer. I've read that the company plans to support the 18v stuff for a little while longer, but not as lithium tools--only Ni-Cad.

I hope to get years of usage out of my 18v and 12v PC stuff, but don't plan to buy into another PC cordless line. If Milwaukee still sells M18 and M12 whenever this stuff stops working, they'll likely get my business despite the much greater cost. Finding deals on discontinued tools is great, until you realize that you can't just walk into a store and replace them or their batteries.

I digress, though, the closest thing to a deal I found in Waycross earlier was $5 off a set of Lennox reciprocating saw blades. Direct drive ratchets are still $10, Gojo Cherry bottles were 50% off at $1.99, and Nano rust penetrant was $2.99 from $15... I don't know if the penetrant was worth the original price or not, but figured $3 sounded okay.

To those that bought the Porter Cable CORDED 1/4" impact drive, could you please tell me what was in the box? There is one left in a store near me but no box. I passed on it before but if I can get it super cheap I'll bite.

I'm pretty sure it was just the impact driver. There weren't any bits or anything like that. I picked mine (in box) up a few weeks back for $19.60.

Thanks, Its ~$29 here with only a display model left. If I could get it for $19 I would buy it. Still not sure if I "need" it but it may come in handy

I just opened mine for the first time. It has the driver and white instruction sheet. That's it. The box is a pain in the **** to open. I can see why it doesn't have one. Hard to open it without damaging it.

Just picked up the porter cable 1/2 inch vs drill, part number 36939, was on clearance for 39.95 but none in stock in Rochester, NH, so the sold me the display model for $25. They couldn't find the included accessories, which is only the chuck anyways lol. Too bad they didn't have the hammer drill model.

I was in the same undecided boat. I had a Dewalt cordless that has served me well but for the price it was a toss up. I actual put it down then picked it up again and bought it.

I need to resecure my deck boards and last summer when I drove new screws into the top section of the deck the battery just didn't cut it. I started using a cheapo drill from a garage sale to get them to the last inch then drove them home with the Dewalt. That went through my mind so it went in the cart.

New codes. The previous codes I posted expire today.

$15 off $50
47000rrrrr4696r
Expires 04/06/15

$50 off $250
47000rrrrr4702r
Expires 04/06/15

(Replace "r" with random number. If it doesn't work, try a different combination. Don't even bother trying combinations "12345", "11111", etc. Someone else probably used it.)

Any new codes? I've been swamped and completely missed the deadline to use the $50off for a new water heater.

Porter Cable PC700D 1/2" VSR drill on clearance for $39.98, about $30 off. I picked one up after reading the mostly positive reviews and tests. Still have to test it out, but figured it should be good enough for my needs. Also bought the rest of the black Bostitch chalk at $0.15/bottle and the last bottle of violet for $0.71.

For the non-vocal minority that has 18v PC tools, check out the displays. Found a PC1800AL area light earlier. It was on display and stuck out next to the 20v Max stuff. They are trying to find an item number to sell it under (no generic ones, I guess?) but I should get it for $9 or so tomorrow. Hell, I may ask for the faded and scuffed up PC 18v system display sheets to put on the shop walls one day.

still at $71.60 here...

Same here but with the $15off$50 coupon, it'll be $56 (which makes it tempting). I'm not going to be building anything until the end of summer, though, so I'm not sure if I'll jump on it. There are only 2 left in the area...

That's my normal 100 footer. Great cord. At $9 each, I just added to my pile. Actually cutting one to make two 50s.
