Kudos to the OP that posted the 1/2" impact.
I also bought Item #: 353386 | Model #: DW2298 G, 1/2" TO 1/4" Adapter,
and put it in immediate service since I have Dewalt 18v drill batteries anyway.

The adapter worked fine driving (40) 3.5" tapcons in concrete filled block. I just had to know when to say when, as the driver has so much torque it would strip the hole out if I got carried away.

Now I am very glad that I was able to snag the impact wrenches, cause I was lucky enough to find the dewalt dcd760kl kit on clearance for $100 on clearance at sears today. Couldn't believe it when I saw the price, asked the manager if it was a return or refurb. Said the only reason for the markdown was that the cardboard box that the kit came in was opened. When I got home and took a closer look at the contents I was very excited to see that everything was not only in perfect condition but that the batteries that came in the kit were the xrp li-ion ones as opposed the the regular li-ions that the description suggestests it would come with.

So all in all I was able to get 2 impact wrenches and the drill kit to make the impacts usable (didn't have any batteries before), for about $150 all said and done. So thanks again to the op on the impact.

Good price, but boy those 80, 100 or 120 foot cords are not for occasional use around the house or garage w/o a fight. I own a couple and they are always twisting, coiling, just a fight. I prefer the shorter ones, a little more manageable for me.

Thanks Boyd for posting the impact bits. If anyone is in the area the Champaign IL store has 7 left on a clip strip in front of cordless drills. Online shows 5 but is incorrect.

It doesn't look like it. It seems to be a bit with a magnetic ring. The bit has a groove where the magnetic ring is pressed on.
