Lowe's Clearance Thread 2015

I hope this is the case, I just ordered a tool that is in Illinois and hope they ship to Cincinnati. Have you tried this before I assume?

Does this actually work? When I have tried this it reverts back to my closest Lowes when I enter my credit card info?

Central Richmond, VA store is $11 on the Irwin cutters. I picked up three and the website shows four left, though I couldn't find them. The Irwin end cap was a lot more sparse than other stores I've been to, but I found the cutters in the pliers aisle. The sticker was white with no indication these sell for $39.98 regularly. All other stores in the area are regular price.

They should be there.....my dad picked me up a set.

He said they were hard to find but eventually did find them (possibly in overhead storage?) After his purchase the online inventory count went from 9 to 8.

Picked up a Dewalt 10 amp Reciprocating saw today for $30.04 . It was 89. down to 71. couple weeks later 62. walked in this morning and was 30. they had two left from 9 pcs a few weeks ago.
Not sure if all stores had them for that price. item #48681..

Now I have my old Harbor Freight one for cutting outdoors and the Dewalt for normal construction..

Just to report back, I ordered items at 8 different Lowes across the US the past few days and each of them shipped via 3-7 days for $7.99 plus tax. Took about 10 minutes over the phone for each store, but Lowe's really impressed with the customer service.

Found a few places that have them for less than $5, stores say they will not ship even though they have 8+ in stock. Will do freight for >$75 though.

Seems they are a non stock item and while some places are putting them on clearance, quite a few stores are keeping them at full price.

Did you attempt to talk to the manager? I have sometimes experienced that the lower level workers do not understand that it is Lowes policy to ship via UPS for $7+ if the item is on the shelves in-store, and the customer is outside the store's "local $75 delivery zone"

Yes, she seemed pretty clueless, basically stating it was not worth lowes time to ship them. Thus their policy of no shipping for clearance items.

I only had resistance 1 time this past week, shipping a clearance item. It was from a clueless customer service guy. Explained to him I was calling to pay for parcel shipping for an item that was paid for and waiting in their online pickup cage. And that I just needed to have the shipping rung up and the item taken from the front to receiving in back. He tries to sell me truck delivery and then says he would transfer me to the receiving department. I kindly said no, they'll just transfer me back up here and asked to speak to a floor manager or store manager instead.

He put me on hold, came back after speaking to the manager and kindly rung me up over the phone for shipping. He apologized for not knowing about the shipping policy. We joked about it and that was that. ***** they weren't too helpful at the store you called.

I just had something shipped from SC to MI. Not as far as what you're asking, but they never questioned it.

I would imagine it would be lower 48 to lower 48. I've had items shipped this week from California to Ohio for $7.99 and from Kentucky to Ohio for $7.99.
