Yes I have done this numerous times with 100% success rate. Sometimes the worker does not know it is possible. I just ask to speak to the manager and they always know it is possible.

Thanks - it was successful today. $7.99 shipped to my door from Peoria. Took about 10 mintues to do over the phone but worth it for the savings.

Chris.

Is this process different from the "Parcel Shipping" option on Lowes' website product page? I found a few of the Irwin powerslot pliers for pretty cheap $8 - $9. (No, not NE Anchorage, Alaska :lol_hitti) But it seems when they're that discounted, the shipping option becomes unavailable. Does a call to the store after choosing pickup, facilitate the ability to ship? Thanks

Was wondering around Lowes after picking up some things and saw this. I actually already have the 4pc set but a buddy of mine was about to buy one so I picked it up and told him I was keeping the free saw lol. So he got a better deal and I got a free saw.

Used 10% off coupon and ended up getting it for $194 + Tax.

My search brings up the gatehouse brand motorized deadbolt:

http://www.lowes.com/pd_612773-25506-PL110S10_0__?productId=50237233

Just a heads up, I tried these when this technology first started showing up,and in less than year the number buttons started falling off, and then it stopped working all together. They replaced it under a warranty, and the replacement did the same. By then, the Schlage was on the market, so I tried theirs. That was 2007, and it still works today. Liked it so well I put them on all my house doors, and 5 doors at my business. A good example of "you only pay the high price once". The cheap stuff you buy over.....and over....

The Kobalt 3/4" drive breaker is on sale at my local Lowes for $19.99 down from $49.97. COO is Taiwan but it seems sturdy enough for 20 bucks.

Max framing nailer was marked down to $143 in 38018... Got the last one (display) for $71.60. Item number 6403. This isn't an off brand, BTW, but up there with Hitachi. Good luck!

Finally scored a deal based on my reading on here! FYI - some stores do STILL have the Irwin cutters. Just picked up two of them for $5 each about a half an hour ago along with a Kobalt 1/4" drive air ratchet for $10. I figured for $10 why not on the ratchet. The sticker says its a return but its brand new and even still has the plastic plug in the air fitting hole. 75% off and I don't even have to deal with the packaging. :)

And the best bonus yet, when I got here to the shop I just realized they only charged me for one of the Irwin cutters making my cost only $2.50 each. :lol_hitti

The cutters were not in the regular section, they were on an end cap corner post and I got the last two that were hanging there. The shelf tag said "was $9.99"....

Kind of unbelievable that all 6 of my local Lowes have these pliers in stock, and they are all $39.99 lol.

I bought mine at the only Richmond area store that had them under $39.99, at least seven other stores stocked them. Here in GA I've only found them in Savannah at full price. The smaller stores like those in Hinesville and Vidalia carry only a few Irwin pliers.

Not sure if these are good deals either but figured I'd post them just in case.

Has anyone else heard these radios? I bought three of those drill kits for work, and each came with the free radio. The sound ***** compared to the Milwaukee radios. No way are they worth $50, and certainly not $100. But I guess they're ok, if you got it free with the drill kit.

Nice, I'm new around here and have found you guys to be awesome and very knowledgeable, informative, reliable. I have yet to find a great score from HD but have had quite good luck with lowes. My first was the bositech brad nailer about a month ago scored 6 or 7 of them at 15 dollars a pop. Then the 3 of the max nailers for $50 each. And you guys were so right about lowes shipping your orders if needed. I ordered 6 from houston texas, for 7.99 and at first CS guy was kinda lost about the whole thing. Kinda got frustrated after reading more about how you can have items shipped call the store back and sale dude informs me that he spoke to corporate and that they could ship them out and even shipped them out free of charge. quite pleased with the way lowes handled the situation and kinda suprised. Idk why but couldnt score in home depot if my life depended on it. But i guess that might have to do with all the customer abuse of their polices and so on.

Great job! I'm over in Lexington near Red Bank, so I'll check that one out tomorrow since you cleaned out the Augusta Rd store. LOL.

Yup - I have not checked any of the other stores around town. I know this much... I did check the website with the Hwy 1 (Augusta Rd) store selected and they did NOT show up on the site at $9.99 or $5. They showed on the site as $39.99 so looking on the website is not in any way a definitive indicator of whether they have them marked in store for $5 or not. I just happened to need to go to Lowes and started looking for them since I was there and was honestly surprised to find a couple of pairs.

There are several other stores around town of course but you could end up doing a LOT of driving to hunt a deal down. Especially if you hit the northeast store way out on Two Notch. Closer to our side of town though you still have #6 and Lexington withing an easy driving distance as well as Harbison which is not too far. I have found some deals at the Harbison store quite a few times that I have not found elsewhere.

Anyone have the current codes for the $15 off $50?

This was on slickdeals, 47000RRRRR4689R, but it keeps popping up with an error. I've used these codes plenty of times before (replacing the R's) and never had an issue. Weird

That promo is most likely dead.

First 2 codes I tried it stated the code was already used. The next 2 codes I tried, it stated the Promotion was not available at this time. Unfortunately, that's usually the end of the promo when that error pops up. Hopefully a new one comes out. That was the 2nd consecutive $15 off $50, normally they only do $10.

Got it... I figured there was some issue. I've used the $15 off $50 so many times over the past couple months that I figured it was normal. I went ahead and used the $10 off $50. $15 off was a STEAL!

Hummmmm.....wonder if my Lowe's will price match for those Irwin cutters. I'd like a pair. Yesterday, I walked out of there after price checking them for $39.99.

Thanks MixMan.......I printed off your pics and Lowes priced match for me.....

Thanks again

Sweet! It had not even crossed my mind that a Lowes might price match another Lowes just based on a couple of pictures like that. Thats awesome and good to know. If all else fails its definitely worth a try if your local store does not have a deal others are getting here as long as someone posts a couple of good photos. Preferably like I did, one in store showing the price marked in store as well as a valid receipt. A valid receipt is one thing that cannot be photoshopped - another store can always pull the sales / transaction number and verify that the receipt is legit.

Glad you were able to get in on the deal just using my pics.

Just ordered 2 of the Irwin Powerslot diagonal pliers for $5 each online from the Beaufort, SC store. Called them up to have them ship to New Hampshire, and the lady I spoke to was giving me attitude, saying she want's to charge $79 for a truck delivery fee. She said they don't do ground shipping and rudely transferred me off to some other department. The lady at the other other department had no clue why she transferred me to her, and then transferred me to the tools department, which actually wasn't the tool department... it was "Tool World" .. wtf is Tool World? Their rental department? Either way, that guy had no clue. I just hung up and called the 800 number customer service, they took care of it for me and charged me the $7.99 shipping.

Wow. Different tastes, I guess. I've been using one as my garage radio for a couple of years now. It works so well I bought another as a gift. Maybe a newer design might sound better, I dunno, but I've been very pleased with mine. It's reception is significantly better than typical stick antenna boom-boxes.

Well, damn, if I'd have known they were in Bo-furt I'd have headed up there this past weekend. Your win, my three will have to do.

I'm still gonna try the price-match at my local store here with the printed pictures from this thread (in-store pic showing $5, and receipts showing $5).

I'm not gonna hold my breath though, they don't like giving discounts at my store. Every store in NH, MA, VT, and ME still has them at $39.98 (yes I checked every one of them online lol)

I was just online and that little chat box popped up and I thought I'd give it a shot.

Me: Hi, will a Lowe's store price match another Lowe's store.

Them: No, unfortunately, we cannot price match different stores, items are priced differently at different locations.

Me: Ok thanks.

Good luck with that. I've only managed to get them to price match another store once, and that was when they were clearing out their Knipex tools years ago.
