Does Lowes discount nailers much?

I know they carry the low profile Bostitch framing nailer, LPF28WW I think it is. Did they carry the low profile version since Home Depot didn't to avoid price matching? Now that Home Depot quit Bostitch my Lowes has the LPF28WW discounted like they might switch to the standard F28WW. Just guessing. I so keep an eye out.

They won't go lower than "their cost". Senco roofing nailer leftover display model at my store a while ago, they wouldn't budge on selling it cheaper than "their cost" of $160.

I found various Velcro pieces for $.88, there were four different types under two generic bar codes. Don't have the SKU, but a quick peek down the aisle on your next trip could be fruitful. Also, the Project Source 10-compartment organizers were back in stock at $.90 each. I thought I bought all my store had at $.72 a few months ago, so they probably found another box.

Dang. I'm looking at buying a miter saw stand for my new Ridgid Saw. The stand itself is $200, but If I buy that saw and get the stand free its basically like paying $100 for the saw.

I'm not too sure about that. I bought a **** load of bessey clamps last year for like a buck a piece.

Eh you're right, people did find the Max framing nailer for like $35... That's just what I was told by an apparently misinformed hardware department manager, or maybe it's the local policy at my store. I never see these dirt cheap prices here.

Lowe's really doesn't have the clearance deals compared to HD. Only thing I have seen is a few very YMMV deals the past month or so. Well you did have the Dewalt pricing mishap.

Lowe's dropped the nicer pop up Gazebo that they had in the store to $373 from $498. If it follows the path of the other one it'll probably drop again in a week or two if there are any left.

I got one for $5. Best deal I've ever gotten. Still haven't used it yet though

So I was in the W. Plano, TX store looking for the clearance aluminum pipe wrench and stumbled across this 12-zone Irrigation Timer by Orbit (IRIS hub required) for $12.90 (reg. $129.00). It wasn't showing in stock based on the website, but it was clearly there. It isn't that price in any of the other nearby stores that had it in stock, so I think it was an employee error or something. Definite extreme YMMV.

I don't have an IRIS hub, but I couldn't pass this up. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet, but it was a pretty awesome find.

That store will no longer carry it. See the little n at the bottom. They must not have moved very good at that store.I would have got it too.

This may have been discussed before, but I went by Lowes and they had the Kobalt 1/4 and 3/8 sockets on sale for $4.98 and $9.98 respectively. These are made in Taiwan and are excellent quality. I have been slowly filling up a toolbox for my 7yo son and couldn't resist buying him a metric and SAE set of both 1/4 and 3/8. After comparing them to my V code USA Craftsman socket, I think the Kobalt is better quality. The machining and chrome is much better quality. Here is a link:

1/4 Metric:
