Haha glad to see I'm not the only one who takes multiple pictures of clearance tags in Lowes :)

That stuff was all dirt cheap. I took all of the telephone wire. I don't have a landline, and when I moved into this house I ripped out all of the telephone wire because it was beat to **** in the basement, all cracked up. Now I can replace it all

Off topic, but my local Lowes has a washing machine with a TV in it. Unfortunately you can't buy one, it's for display only. lol

That's right. Thx. Got the last charging cable from that box and picked up a 2:1 car charger for $2. They had a handful of others but I only needed one.

I grabbed a few of the hot pink car chargers the other day. The GF hates pink stuff, but cheap is cheap

Who's the guy here from Detroit? Southfield, MI has 6 of the Senco roofing nailers for $160. Keep an eye on those

My Lowes has had a few nailer on sale for months. Maybe 20% off They are not going down in price. Same with the Senco screw gun. It sat at $90 until they were gone.

yea I would think the motor would break or something like that and it would be useless.

Warranty is pretty nice. Three years or 4,000 winds or something crazy long.

I'm sure it wouldn't be useless. Couldn't be too incredibly hard to replace the motor. Has to have minimal circuitry. I just ordered one of each online with a coupon. I'll pick them up tomorrow and report back.

Please do! I walked by these again yesterday and almost left the store with one...just not much feedback out there though.

Picked up two of the ceiling mount roboreels this weekend. My shop wont be finished till end of October but I opened one up and they appear to be good quality. At $99 they aren't too much more than a standard reel. My store (Longview, TX) still had two of the portable version and at least one of the air reels.

It'd be interesting to hear how long one of those units lasts. When I saw the video for the product, my impression was that a reel that includes a processor and a processor controlled motor adds a potential failure mode that a plain old reel with a spring doesn't have. IMO there are just too many simple devices that are being made complicated today, in the name of processor derived convenience. Unfortunately complicated designs tend to fail sooner than simple designs, and are often impossible to repair. I hope it lasts a long time for you.

Did inventory show on the website for them?

I had the same thoughts. I do a lot of metal work so I do have concerns about grinding dust fouling it up. Hope they last a long time for me. :dunno:

Idk if it's clearance or not but lowes has a nice deal where you get 2 Swanson speed squares (USA) and a tape measure with 4 carpenters pencils for under $13.

http://m.lowes.com/pd/Swanson-Tool-Company-Speed-Square-Value-Pack/50401882

Amazon says origin = China. Squares and pencils made in USA.. so the tape measure must be Chinese? If the tape measure is made in USA also, it would sound silly to send USA made items to China just to get packaged, then sent back here.

Silly, but not that implausible. :headscrat

Not much going on at Lowes this morning. I looked at the yellow stickers the lady had to change and there was not many deals.

Thanks for the update, how helpful.

For the rest, check the angle grinders, you may be pleasantly surprised at the yellow sticker on a yellow grinder.

Yeah just about as helpful as this cryptic description of a grinder. How about we post Links, Item numbers, or pics that seems to be the most helpful to me. :headscrat

For the model D28402W, at 20% off and an additional 10% discount, it is much cheaper than Home Depot current clearance price of $81. This is a perfect example of when clearance is not always the cheapest route and that you really have to compare prices.

Dewalt has too many models for the 4-1/2" grinder

Do a search on Lowes for "dewalt angle grinder" and count how many there are, not including the cordless ones or kits.

7 amp, 9 amp, 10 amp, 11 amp, paddle switch, slide switch, ...

Interesting that the people who never post deals are now complaining about other peoples' posts being cryptic. Lurkers need to contribute too.
