Yeah, 10% off or less they can do in a few seconds at the register. The metal stock at my local lowes has much lower prices listed back where you can pick it up then it scans for (someone must never update the stickers back there after they had a sale on metal!). I also take a picture of the sticker and show it to the clerk who quickly changes it as long as it is less than a 10% difference.

Still not the best prices I can get on metal, but in a hurry, they are 15 minutes closer than the steel supply store!

It never hurts to ask. I went in today to get some lights for my shop. Directly below the ones I was getting they offered a contractor pack where you could save 10% if you buy at least 6. I asked the lady in electrical if I could get a deal similar to that on the lights I wanted to get. She came back and said she could do 10%. I told her I already had a coupon that would give me 10% but I would be willing to buy all of them on the shelf if she would go 15% (they had 19, i needed 17). She made a call to the manager and said 15% was no problem.

If I had to guess, it's this:

Just curious, has anyone seen the $15 off $50 type coupon codes lately? I remember there being plenty of similar codes about 6 months ago, but don't recall seeing any as of lately.

Picked up some wobble extensions clearanced over half price.
Had the locking extensions too.
Also noticed the 3/8 universal sockets and crowsfeet were clearanced.

Like to express my appreciation for your Lowe's postings as well. Just ordered the recirculation pump as well (listed cost - $24.99 minus a 10% coupon for a final price of $23.85 with tax). Most of the Lowe's locations near me that had the pump wanted the full $199. Would not have looked for the pump if you hadn't posted same as I have been avoiding the cost. Hope that my order doesn't get cancelled.

Now to go and order some of the Kobalt extensions and other ratchet/socket sets.........A man's work is never done.

Those deals I just happened to find by walking every aisle in the store and just checking all the yellow clearance tags. Plumbing usually has some phenomenal deals, but it's usually oddball stuff that you have no use for.

For the most part, you can find Lowes deals online. I just search brands or category, such as "Hitachi" or "pliers", filter for "in store", then sort it by price. Go down the list and you'll notice some things out of place in the sorting, such as $99 $98 $12 $97 $96, there's something up with the $12.

Then keep in mind that every store is different, so if you find something discounted, change your store and check the price there
