Sad and disgusting.

If it makes you feel any better a bunch of that stuff was back on the shelf at one Lowe's. Apparently some employee stashed the stuff. Then not knowing the price would go back up waited to actually buy it. I had a girl scan it and she said none of it was supposed to be in stock. It wasn't there the day before and the prices had gone back up on all of it.

That explains why the cool stuff is almost never on the shelves by me. I am in Chester County too. He is like 50 minutes from me near where PA, DE, and MD meet

You guys should flag it as "prohibited" give the guy some grief by having his posting taken down over and over

Why mess with his sale, he has done nothing wrong.
Not like he is gonna get his asking price anyway.

agreed, let me... him sell his stuff. Kidding but more power to him. I doubt he is going to get that price for a bulk sale but you never know. Some of us did well with bulk sales of the nails recently.

My local store has the 25-count Velcro cord straps for $1.12, down from $8.97. I was tempted to buy the last 10 but only picked up 5. Also, a lot of the chain accessories (clips, hooks, and split links) was 30-80% or so off. The single drawer workbench was $40 and some change. Seemed like a lot of stuff was on clearance around the store. They're probably looking to make more room for Christmas stuff next June...

Seriously, though, everywhere around here had Christmas stuff displayed before Labor Day. Lowe's has a single Halloween display in the center of an aisle. The really funny thing is that Olaf (the snowman from Frozen) and other Frozen characters made up probably 20% of the Halloween stuff in stock.

With the amount of "stashed" sale products members have found and disappearing online sale items...I think it's a damn good reason to discourage employees from reselling items. I mean I can't say for sure that this is an employee or that he did anything wrong(because if he just bought a bunch of items after a shift, that's a-ok in my book)...but with all the issues I've had at Lowe's it's a rather safe bet.

I'm not trying to change your mind but I've personally been screwed out of several deals, because of employees. I also am not one who sells closeout items, I only buy if I plan on using them or if I want to pass a sale item to a friend(for cost).

I agree and have the same problem with Home Depot

I'm going to post this up here and in the Classifieds but if anyone has an extreme access ratchet they picked up when the stuff was cheap, and would be willing to drop it in an envelope and send it to me at cost or close to it please send me a PM. I'm looking for all 3 sizes.

That was what was weird. No extreme ratchets except in sets around here.

I saw but didn't think about taking a pic of the 1/4" and 3/8" SAE and Metric 11-piece socket sets(no ratchet) for under $10

Also, $1.50-$3 individual Kobalt crowsfeet and xtreme access sockets back on sale. http://www.lowes.com/Search=kobalt+...&N=0&newSearch=true&Ntt=kobalt+xtreme+access#

I picked up one of the pass-thru kits last week and another single ratchet with a broken lever on it. I figured I could just warranty it, but I was told they are no longer making them. (???)

I bought the kit thinking I could toss it in our RZR 1000, but already found out one downfall. While trying to run power to a power block under the hood, I realized the socket would not grab a thin 3/8" nut. (Not my RZR I found the image on Google.)

To my knowledge, I haven't found an issue where I could reach a nut with the socket and not turn it, using the HF go through socket set.

Wasn't ever impressed with these 'extreme access' sets, your comment just there solidified it for me. Likely why they're clearing them out.

Those 12pt universals are interesting. I don't think I've encountered a 12pt nut that I've needed the universal, are you guys finding a use for this often? All the universal sockets I recall using or seeing, they are all 6 pt sets.

If anyone has extra I need crowsfeet in 9/16", 3/4", 11mm, 12mm, 16mm. PM me if you have spares.

I got a 3/4" for you. I see that Doghouse grabbed your 9/16 and 11mm, and my store doesn't show a spot for a 12mm or 16mm.

I need a 9/16 crowsfoot to complete my set...if anyone picks up an extra PM me...perhaps we can we strike a deal.

Thanks

J

I got a 9/16" for you.

Can someone please find an extra 13mm crows foot? I need one to compleat a set.

I grabbed a 13mm for you.

he didn't know what he was talking about they have new stock coming in for the loose tools that hasn't hit most stores yet but the kits have.

There warranty is replace with like or better tool so just hang on to it until the old stuff is all gone and the replacements hit the shelves or find a clerk who works that department and knows the policy. The kits come with an extension for tighter reach areas also. Though not a fan of the one socket for both sae and metric.

well it looks like the pulled all of the Senco stuff off of the website, with the exception of a bucket of nails and a pack of staples, so now I can't monitor something I've been watching.

Weird...seems like they took the Senco stuff off a lot earlier than most non-stock products. Wonder if it'll pop back on? I've seen them do that once or twice in the past few months...available, no longer available. Then a few days later it was back available at an even cheaper price. Here's hoping.

You would think they'd leave it on the website for the stores that still have inventory.. Another example is the DualSaw reciprocating saw. A lot of stores around here have it, but it's not on the website.

Is this clearance (i.e. is it likely to drop lower)? I have the PC 20V system and the max battery is $70-$80 alone (not counting the saw, drill and regular battery).

No clue. Just saw it online. Go to the product page and keep changing your location to see if the prices are different at different stores

Price is consistent in my AO. (50 mile radius) Although I invested in Dewalt I may buy this just to have a battery operated saw

Picked up these today for $1.49 each. Made in Taiwan and seem to be good quality. They just happened to have 1 of each left!
