that one is $19.98 at my local store according to the web. For 60 cents I would have bought all they had and gave them to people for trunk toolkits or to always have one in my trunk and to give to friends if we are trying to fix something and they don't have a socket kit.

:+1:

Me thinks it would make a good trunk kit. If I found them for 60¢ I would probably buy a bunch. Hand out to friends neighbor kids, etc. I mean what else can you get for 60¢ these days? (new)

Not a fan of Task Force here. lol

Yes they ain't the best, but for the $. I have a pair of task force linemans pliers out in the mower shed for cutting trimmer line and the like. Honestly they are pretty solid, considering I found them in a trash can rusted solid.

For 60 cents you get a couple sets and give them away like the HF free screwdriver set if someone wants to borrow something.

I'm always a fan of a cheap tool in the hand when and where I need it versus the expensive and nicer tool back in the garage where it doesn't help me on the side of the road.

Sure, it isn't great, but if it can do the job when I need it, the fact that it CAN do the job is good enough.

Do a search for "task force" and just keep changing your local store. all sorts of deals, but they're totally random.

It was grouped with other clearance stuff in the ladder isle. I was talking to a worker who was almost running there to get some.. He grabbed three while other works had four or five. I got two and I have one for myself and one for my FIL

Wish I could have found them at mine. I filled an old craftsman plastic toolbox with the HF freebies/cheapies and use it for ripping apart cars at the junkyard. If I break or lose anything, its no big deal. I don't dare to bring my good stuff there.

Your 60 cent find cost me three bucks here, though I did find a couple 1/4 combo sets for about three bucks each..
