So I wouldn't call myself a "hammer guy", but there's something to be said about good hammers. That being said, I happened through my Lowes today and spotted hammers for ridiculous prices. Scored a $30 Bostich bricklayer, a stanley ball pein, a kobalt 4lb engineers hammer, and a stanley wrecking bar all for $14 (military discount on top of it all!) Check it out.

Yall may want to check your lowes for similar hammer clearance! Sure, I don't need a bricklayer, but there will be a time that I will...and the wife won't even argue with the price :D

if those are chinese be very, very careful. Chinese hammers are especially dangerous...just sayin. Eye protection 100% of the time, no exceptions. I know it should be that way anyway...just be extra careful:eek:

Not sure of the origin. I don't fool around with my eyes. I'm not as worried about the hammer breaking as I am about what I'm hitting breaking...

OP nice score, I will have to see if my lowes has any similar deals next time I'm in:bounce:

I just about killed myself this week stopping by every lowes store within a 30 mile radius, and buying up all the American made hammers at fantastic prices. I did not spot the above 4 items but I cleaned them out of Vaughn hammers.

I picked up the Stanley ball peen and the 4lb engineers hammer for those prices...didn't have the brick hammer on sale though. I'll check it out the next time I'm there (tomorrow)

I've been using the hell out of the 4 lbs engineering hammer for splitting wood and it has held up well to the abuse.
