Lowes Kobalt 11 pc 12 pt 1/2" drive deep socket sets - $19.97

Was just at Lowes today and noticed they'd taken the Kobalt 11 pc 12 pt 1/2" drive deep socket sets (metric and SAE) and marked them down to a 'new low price' of $19.97, originally $37.97.

They had a ton at my store, but I decided I'd rather wait and get my 1/2" sockets in 6 pt not 12 pt.

I dont think Kobalt has 6 point 1/2'' drive sockets. Ive never seen em in store.

They have 6 pt 1/4 and 3/8'' drive but not 1/2

Yeah, they only have 6 pt 1/2" drive in impacts. I think I might get my 6 points from Craftsman or used American made.

The six point 1/2'' come in the sets with ratchets and extensions, but I don't think they sell them seperately.

The 3/8'' drives were $10. I dont think the 1/2'' ever went on sale

1/2" drives at my local store have never been on sale...I check everytime I'm there as I need a 1/2" deep set badly. May have to check this sale out this weekend.

yea, I won't lie - the yellow colored clearance tags catch my eye when I walk through Lowes!! I doubt that they ever plan to sell these at 35, but $20 is a pretty darn good price. If they go to $5 or $10 on BF, WAHOOOOOO!

That is what foreign tools are best for, selling for next to nothing.

grabbed a metric set this morning but they were out of the SAE. Will try again later today or tomorrow.

I bought both the metric and SAE 3/8" drive ones when they were $9.99. I use them all the time and they have held up well.
