I've actually considered purchasing 4 of them. I honestly don't have enough tools to really need 4 of the HF boxes and think this might be a good alternative. I think it's a pretty good price and also includes the light and pegboard back.

You would most likely save some money by building your own. I would checkout the "Work Bench From Scratch" Thread. Its giving me ideas to make my own work bench with a peg-board backing. Plus I got a Vise for free I have been wanting to use for over a year and need to mount that sucka to something...

I'm more interested in the drawer portion for tool storage that the bench itself. Still two of the HF boxes would provide much more storage.

It has 45 reviews and a 4 star rating. When I checked reviews it was for a rug:wtf: I would consider one of the HF 4 drawer carts for $99 and then stop by the lumber yard and for $30 get materials to build a small work bench.: Savings $60 thumbup:

I have the older model of this workbench and have been very happy w/ it. I only purchased it because it was clearance and I got the demo model for $60. It has held up well for what little stuff I have used it for. Mine doesn't have the metal peg board, so it is a little flimsy, but it is nothing that can't be easily fixed.

I have this bench. Nice looking and very solid. I bought a nice piece of plywood there that they cut in half for me. Glued and screwed it double thick with spar varnish on the top and edges. Cut it off two feet longer than bench and welded legs up-could have used 4 by's. Now I have a bench about 6.5 ft long with a space to pull a stool into and sit and work. I'm very pleased with it. Drawers work well. Better value than others. Costco has great bench but it's 8 ft long.

I bought one that is identical to this one from Sears with a Craftsman label about 6 years ago. I like it a lot. Very sturdy. Only thing I don't like is that the light makes a loud humming noise. Drawers hold a lot of weight. Bench is pretty heavy and does not move around.
