Register scanned it at $269. Lowes online still shows $599. I needed extra drawer space and really like it for the price. I didn't know what to think about the side cabinet but realized it would be a great place to store my paint guns.

Marketing strategy is a bit strange in my area with this blue stainless steel tool cabinet in an end-cap far away from "Tool World". The metal is thin and drawers rated for 99lb shimmied easily meaning good for light-duty non-pro use. The new lower price from 599 is more in line with the quality and perhaps a sale would make it even better.

I was just following a p-u in N.W. Indiana this afternoon, that had that box set-up in the back of his truck. Not real deep (18"), but not bad for the money I suppose.

They went back to $599 today at my store.

Sometimes you do luck into some good deals. A few months ago I stopped in the local Sears and saw a Premium Series 40" cabinet marked on the floor at $249. I had the salesman check the price and he said he would honor whatever the sticker read----Sold!

When I went to pick it up later the manager was not pleased, but I explained that I made a separate trip to pick it up, etc, and he helped load it up. It's a discontinued model, but still found at some of the stores:
