Saw this lone package hanging on the end of the shelf while I was there picking up some individual sockets to fill in my empty spots. Unlike the other Kobalt sockets, these are made in china. They did feel nice and heavy however.

These are the sockets with the splines that fit 12pt, square, external torx, etc...

For about a dollar fifty a socket...I almost picked them up, but I've got more than enough sockets as is! On the Lowes website, the individual sockets go for $8 to $12 each.

They have had long-running "sales" on these sockets since their introduction.

I believe most here wouldn't buy into the "universal" splined sockets that claim to fit every type of fastener. It seems the rest of world isn't so foolish as to buy them either.

Are the socket the same way? I've seen the "universal" SAE/metric wrenches but not the sockets.

Full yellow tag generally means clearance/discontinued at Lowe's. That is probably the last one at that store...
