Any hand tool with a light on it is a gimmick IMO. I saw them today when I picked up my Nicholson files...

Any useful stuff on sale besides the trays, Klein and Nicholson stuff?

Light hand tools = fail. Too bulky for one. Two, just buy a clip on light for a hat or an attachable drop light. I see one good use for a lighted ratchet. When your broke down on the side if the road and your battery is dead and that's your only source of light. (If you have good batteries in the tool itself..)

That is what I was thinking - if you were stuck outside and had to make an emergency repair, the light might be nice - especially instead of trying to hold one in the other hand.

There were a couple of mechanics tools sets at half price or so $20 - usually $40 - and they stil have some locking pliers and tongue and groove pliers on sale - 3 pliers for $9.98 (half price) - not too bad.

Store near me has the lighted ratchets for $9-$11-$13 each based on size. If they drop a little more I might pick up one of each to throw in the truck box. I dont like the bulky thing on the back though...

Looks like they are 72t though
