Lowes - lighted ratchets

I actually bought the lighted extensions from Lowes for 3 bucks. I can see how they might occasionally come in handy (mostly for a home wrench like myself).

I purchased a lighted extension from Northern Tool. Actually it is good quality and works well. It was also only a few dollars on clearance.

My light broke off after about 7 uses. Still works undoing bolts.

Guess I'm late to the party.

Personally I don't like the ratchets. I was in Lowes the other day and saw them for $4.00 for the 3/8. Gotta admit, I thought about it for a sec, but the battery compartment was just way too big. Decided I'd skip.

And for what it's worth, I also agree with Hootbro. If you buy it and it breaks through "natural causes", whether from useage or just being ****, by all means go and swap it out. That being said, doing it on purpose to just get another item at a higher price point is sketchy. THAT being said, I've got a feeling the guy that said he was going to do that, didn't really mean it. I've said many things alluding to breaking the law during the course of a beer session with my buddies, never once intended to do any of it.

That's kind of what GJ is. a 24hr refuge from the wife and kids to be able to chill out with your buddies.
