They had these on sale (until 12/31) at lowe's for 15 bucks. I think they're us made and over 100 lumens. 2d (meaning 2-d batteries) so it's a big one.

Not a bad deal for a well made flashlight.

They also knocked about a buck off the small xenon maglites with the cases (also us made) to about 8 bucks.

These prices are online as well.

These LED Maglites are surprisingly bright. I bought a 2 AA last year to work above ceilings. I bought this 2 D this year and could not be happier.

Love my 2d led mags. I have 1 in every vehicle plus the house and trailer. Took with me camping this summer and had to order 7 of them for friends. Remember to use you loses credit card for additional 5% off. They have put them on sale the past 4 yrs on blk Friday. The 1st yr they also included the 3 d cell

3D's are cool.... they work real well in less than full size trucks.

I happened to be up in College Station that BF and bought the last 7 they had.
Figured I'd buy more back home cuz one can never have too many maglites.... of course all the stores here had sold out by the time I got aroundtoit

I really want to like maglites, but I am so spoiles by the light volcano that is my chapstick-sized 4sevens Quark mini123 that I can't justify even $14 on a big, fat, dim maglite. :-( Used to love them before I got a modern light.

I have a bunch but my Fenix E50 is so much smaller and brighter that they never get used anymore...

I also used to love my Maglite, but got tired of dead batteries every time I really needed it. Have moved on to my Cman C3 and Nextec lights. Always have recharged batteries available and ready when needed. I also have about 10-15 free HF LED's lying around everywhere for those quick emergencies. The Mags are great though, especially if you need to also defend yourself in the dark!
