I have a 10% Lowes moving coupon and would like to verify if it is good for a single Item purchase or can be used for a single checkout of multiple items.
The coupon says, 'Good for a single purchase of in stock or special order merchandise only up to $5,000.'

I'm guessing that they mean single Item when they say single purchase?

What has been your experience?

Thanks

Basically you can use on everything you buy during one store visit.

Don't forget that Home Depot will honor it too (via their price match), which is what I did last month.

I even pulled a miracle...the one HD store was out of one major item, so they called the next store over and held the item for me. I explained that I needed to use my coupon at both stores, and should be able to as it wasn't my fault store #1 was out of the item. They agreed, and told me to tell store #2 to call store #1's manager to OK the 10% off. I actually bought MORE stuff at store #2, and they gave me the discount! So, I used a Lowe's coupon at two HD's. :pimpflash

You take cheapness to a new level, don't you? I don't know how you got them to agree to do that.

Also, if you find an equal or better price at HD's competitors they'll meet it and beat it by 10%. So, it's good to look at competitor's flyers and check Lowes before shopping at HD.

The max you can be discounted is $500. One coupon saved me nearly $400 when I redid my roof.

I only have a HD, Menards and Do-it-Center out here. I don't think they will take HF or Lowes discounts, you think?

It's true the other way too. I got 10% off a Milwaukee drill by showing a HD ad to Lowe's. They were really weird about trying to be sure it was the EXACT same item, which it was.

The coupons are in the "change of address" forms, and you have to ask for them now as they don't usually leave them out. I've moved a lot... LOL

I asked last time I was at Menards and neither the cashier or head cashier seemed to have seen a HF coupon before or heard of HF, but after checking with a manager they told me they would honor the HF coupon on regular priced items. Everything I was buying that day was on sale so i haven't tried it yet.
