An associate at a local store told me that Lowe's will no longer be offering an additional 10% off after matching a competitor's price. However, effective May 1, they will begin price matching online retailers.
I've used price match policies on the rare occasion when I wasn't near the original advertiser. The price match + 10% is an incentive, once gone, I'll go to the original advertiser.
