Picked up a couple cabinets over the weekend with in-store special not in weekly ads.

Buy Large or XL Floor cabinet (36x72 or 48x72) and get 30" wall cabinet free. This for the ready-to-assemble stuff of course. Wanted the welded but settled for these ($241 for both with 10% coupon -- can't beat that ).

Not sure about gauge but it is my understanding that Gladiator sells two lines of cabinets. One is welded steel that comes fully assembled and is considered "premium". Heard lots of good stuff about them. Second is ready-to-assemble that is steel as well but of course not as tough as welded. The sides, bottome, top and back panels are bolted together so structurally not the same as welded. But for my application they will be good enough.

I have assembled many of the Gladiator cabinets. Yes they are cheap, but a real pain to assemble. The sheet metal is thin and easily dented. I just placed an order for 20 of their Premier line of cabinets. These are heavier gauge metal, welded and assembled. I will get them delivered in about 2 weeks. I will post some pictures when installed.

NewAge Products has a line of fully welded cabinets so there's almost no assembly. I just posted that I have a 6 pc 18 gage set in grey and I'm very happy with them. They're very strong and you can tell they're better quality when compared to the other stuff outt there. They also have a 24 gage line that is less expensive and comes in red or grey. Which cabinets did you end up going with?
