I don't remember the exact price but I know it was higher than 30 when I looked. I remember noticing it still cost more than the HF cart I still haven't put together yet.

Well, I asked nicely, and after checking their computer, they determined that it was a "non-stock" item, and the last one in the store. They offered me 50% off, which brought it down to $21 and change.

I started to build my own, and will probably build a better one at some point. However, the time and materials to build one (even with all the free angle iron I got from scrapped bed frames) far outweighs the cost of this one. I'll practice my skills in other ways.

It was 43 here last weekend, and 17 tonight. One last dusty box left

I haven't found a Lowes sale link that has been posted here on GJ, that's currently running in my area. BTW, there is one feedback regarding the cart and it reads it's junk.

I got out the door for $15.14. Another guy got the other one. You can have them check your area and save some driving if they know how to do it.

I put mine together this afternoon, and its definitely a cheap piece of ****. If I had paid anywhere near original price, I'd be pissed. But, for the price I paid, my welder now rolls for cheaper than the wheels alone would have cost.

Even though the box was not damaged, one of the plastic plugs to close off the square tubing was broken, and I had to bend the frame to get the holes to line up on the bottle bracket. No hangers for cables like the HF cart has. Not worth my time to return it or ask mfg to send me new parts. I'll probably use it as is, and eventually scavenge it for parts when I build a nicer cart someday.

I think it's a good-enough deal at the $15-20 price point. I hope nobody paid full price, or even the original $40ish clearance price though.

I ended up returning mine after buying the display model HF cart (they changed the color) for the same price I had paid for the Lowe's one. The HF cart has more shelves, better wheels, taller height, and built in hangers for welding leads. I'm much happier with it than the Lowe's one.

Santee CA store had two on the shel marked down to 25 bucks. I snagged them both. One for the welder and one for the Plasma cutter. These will be perfect for me. I was gonna get the HF carts but they would have been too tall to go under my welding table. These fit perfect with my machines on them.
