Just showed up in one of the local Lowes.

I really liked them, The 41" Bottom is 349.00, top was 249.00

I thought it was just a painted version of the existing Kobalt boxes, but it is much more solid.
It really struck me when I opened the drawer, how much heavier it felt.
I compared it to the S.S. version next to it. The drawer metal is a different form, it was greatly doubled over where the S.S. one was not.

I would have bought it on site, if I had not just bought the 2 Montezuma boxes.

The white ones have a double wall construction so they are much heavier. As for the stainless boxes, they aren't. Next time you go shopping try sticking a magnet to one.

There are different grades of stainless, some of them are magnetic and some are not.

Pretty neat for a mass market box. If only it were more than 18" deep...

I have a Lowes stainless finish toolbox, at the time it was their largest

About the only thing I didn't like is they packaged them poorly, I had some minor damage but decided to just live with it.

I love the contrast of white and black, but I've always been iffy about white things because they seem to get that dirty grungy look to them really quick.

Lowes had some colored boxes before but poorly marketed. I first heard about the white boxes late last year and went to my Lowes to see one. When I got there I found this one set on clearance in front of tools. Notice it is the same as the white one down to the the decals. They only had the one and wouldn't separate it. I was looking for bottom boxs to do a " steevo" bench. The tool associate got on the computer and found other stores who only had the bottom box. I ended up buying four boxes which he had shipped to my store no charge. With my veterans discount I ended up paying $250 a box so saved $400 over the same approach with HF boxes. I now have to get the shop finished and get them setup.

Yeah I wish I had seen them prior to buying 2 Montezuma's.
I still can not believe how heavy and solid they feel compared to the other Kobalts, Huskys, Craftsmans. I was in HD and Sears yesterday and their boxes/drawers feel like tissue paper compared to the white Kobalt box.
