Just wanted to share a great customer service experience I had at Lowe's Yesterday.
My wife and I had set out to buy some ceiling fans. Lowe's had a 20% off Hunter brand ceiling fans promotion so we thought we'd take advantage. We went to the store nearest our house first and found the models we liked best only to find out that the store was out of stock of all three fans we'd picked out. The associate we spoke to more than helpful in finding a nearby store that had what we wanted in stock. He also informed us that one particular fan was well over half off ($66.30 for a $179 fan) and to make sure the cashier at the other store rung it up for the correct price.
The cashier at the second store was more than happy to adjust the price once he was able to confirm the price with the first store. Initially we were only going to purchase 2 fans for the bedrooms upstairs, but with a deal like that we ended up with 6 so we could outfit the whole house. On top of that; the guy let us use a HF 20% coupon on one of them! (with manager approval of course)
It's not very often that I am satisfied spending a good chunk of money on something without wheels or **** but yesterday was an exception to the rule.
I'll be driving past the local HD on my way to hit Lowe's from now on.
