Looking over my 3/4" drive sockets - 100% of them from garage/estate sales over last 25 years. This one stood out.
2" Socket marked "Made in USA, Lic. Reissue, Pat 19287, Loxocket Trade Mark"
I understand it was a Snap-On logo from late 1930's to early 1940's. Interestingly enough - there is no size, no part number, and no knurled band as seen on the reference material and other images. Maybe they were along the bottom where there is some rust - but cannot find any evidence. Maybe it is an early one? Maybe a late one for the war?
also - the retaining pin moves, but if there ever was a spring of some sort in there, it is long gone
Interested in mostly when it was from, any insight or help appreciated!
