What's your go to and what do you call it?

I've used the blue greenlee, yellow greenlee, clear ideal jelly stuff, yellow pasty stuff and heard it called anything from elephant snot to cable ***. I've never really see a clear advantage from one to the other, other than price at the time... anyone else?

Wires have been coming with no-lube coatings for the last several years. Sim-pull, Super Slick are a few trademarks. Even still, some folks are continuing to use lube with them.
The only differences that I care about are if it cleans up with soap and water and if it stains my clothes. That's why I dont use Ideal yellow. Polywater is the most popular around my location.

Our go to for the a long time has been Yellow 77. I have had the clear glide (so-so) and the non freezing (oil based?) stuff. The best overall was the Yellow 77.
