How do I take care of an air ratchet? I am just a DIY'er and would be using the ratchet maybe a few times a month. Do I just dip the head in oil and wipe it down?

How do I take care of an air impact wrench such as an IR 2135? Do I need to lubricate it like an air ratchet?

An air compressor should be drained daily, correct? Once it has drained, should I leave the drain plug closed or open? Will moisture build up inside if I leave the drain plug open?

Thanks

Lube the tools before you use them. Use air tool oil.

Get a ball valve for the bottom of your compressor or get an auto drain for the tank. Don't drain the tank unless you rarely use air. If you just use a ball valve, you can drain it without having to empty the entire tank. Close your ears and open the valve 2-3 times quickly.

Put a few drops of air tool oil down teh air inlet on every air tool before using them. And put air tool oil anywhere else that you see the word "oil" on your air tools.

Is it possible to put oil down the air inlet without taking off the couplers?

What about the ratchet heads? Do they need drops of oil?
